VARStreet is already equipped with dashboard capabilities which were upgraded last year in the month of October. Enhancements include ability to create dashboards along with a range of widgets and data visualization tools like bar & line chart, donut, etc.
However, the newly added dashboard capabilities have transformed the user experience to altogether a new level. Features like ability to create custom dashboards or add custom widgets from scratch has provided the application a massive leap. They can move widgets as well as drag and drop custom widgets to their dashboard. The users have the option to make the dashboard private or public allowing the owner to share it with other users. Option to email dashboards to higher authority is also available.
To offer these enhanced capabilities, VARStreet has created a proprietary ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) process that assimilates data from different sources, followed by transformation and loading of data into the warehouse system which behaves like a central repository. This data available in the warehouse system is then accessible to the dashboard and for reporting. The data available from the transaction database is refreshed after 10 minutes in the warehouse system which means the dashboard provides real-time data insights.
VARStreet has included all the data points to the data warehouse. This enables users to create widgets on available data points in the VARStreet system.
