With this integration resellers can setup 2-factor authentication on their VARStreet backoffice accounts to enhance security. This two- step verification process will help to avoid unauthorized success.
The team at VARStreet has been working for a long time to add an extra layer to the platform. The company already has deployed a web application firewall to enhance the system's security. The recent addition of CISCO Duo will provide greater security to the platform that is being used for sales quoting, CRM, catalog management, B2B eCommerce, procurement, and more.
To activate 2-factor authentication, VARStreet resellers will have to setup an administrative account on CISCO DUO. This is followed by accessing the API keys. The reseller has to enter the keys on the VARStreet's DUO setup page in order to activate the feature.
VARStreets resellers have the flexibility to decide different ways of authentication. For instance, they can choose push notification on the Duo app or get a passcode on mobile phone.
