How we’re supporting our employees

100% remote workforce

We have enabled our entire organisation to work from home and are using internal communication tools, like Zoom, Skype, Slack, Asana, Microsoft teams, Google Meet, GoToMeeting, email and regular team calls to manage projects and keep every staff member updated on the latest developments. While initially, we did take some time to adapt to this new way of working, we’ve quickly crossed the initial hiccups, and all our teams have beautifully adapted to working remotely with new processes and tools to ensure unhindered workflow. We continue to deliver uninterrupted support, 24/5 to our customers, are available for their most urgent needs and also resolve issues promptly.

Flexible recruitment process

VARStreet continues to hire for open positions in various departments. We have adopted a fully virtual recruitment process with interviews taking place via Skype or Zoom. Interested candidates can see open positions here.

Remote onboarding

New hires will be onboarded remotely with training sessions conducted virtually and constant support afforded by team members to ensure they are ready and set up for succeeding in their new roles despite the challenging environment.

How we ensure your data is secure

Two-factor authentication is deployed to access VARStreet Network over VPN. Employees are given appropriate accounts on systems which they are authorized to access following the “least privilege” principle.

Generally, access controls are provided by Microsoft’s Active Directory services and appropriate configuration of the operating system, file system and application settings.

Access to client data is limited to legitimate business need, including activities required to support clients’ use of the SaaS Solutions. Employees may only access resources relevant to their work duties.

The pandemic has affected economies and businesses globally but more importantly it is a health issue which has affected interpersonal, familial and societal structures as well.
