Enhancements

Introduced Option to Display Special Pricing Expiry Date for Products on Store.

  • Now the user can display 'special price expiry date' for products on the Store.
  • A new flag called "Show Special Pricing Expiry Date" has been introduced at the Customer level and Store Setup.
  • To access this flag go to BO>>eCommerce>>Store>>Setup>>Store>>Display Settings>>Flag
  • The same flag will be visible at the Customer Level. It will primarily have 3 options:
    • As per Store Settings (Default Value)
    • Yes
    • No
  • The flag at customer level will have higher precedence than the one at eCommerce Store Setup page.
  • If the above flag is checked (either Customer Level or Store Level), then the storefront will show "Price valid till date" on the 'Product details page' against the products if the expiry date is available.
  • For other pages that include "Product Listing", 'Product widget', 'Product Comparison screen', 'Favorites', 'Recently ordered', Product Suggestion, etc., the 'i' icon will be visible next to the pricing of the product. Hovering the mouse over the 'i' icon will allow the user to view the special pricing expiry date.

Introduced the ability to Exclude Products of specific distributors from Storefront

  • Now users can exclude distributors whose products they don't want to display on the Storefront.
  • In the 'Price Rule' under 'Price Profiles', the users have the option to select distributors whose products they want to exclude from the storefront.
  • To access this feature go to BO>>Admin>>Price Profiles>>Price Rule>>Edit>>Feature
  • Users only have to add distributors to the "List of Excluded Distributors" to exclude their products from the storefront.

Modifications to Existing Features

The Character limit of Header/Footer Menu URL has been increased to 1000 Characters

Before Release

  • Previously, the character limit of the URL associated with the header/footer menu was up to 250 characters.

After Release

  • Now the character limit of the URL associated with the header/footer menu has been increased to 1000 characters.

Introduced Option to add Configuration Products to My Favorites/Company Favorites on the Store

Before Release

  • Previously, there was no provision to add configuration products to My Favorites/Company Favorite on the Store

After Release

  • Now Back-office (BO) user can add configuation products to My Favorite/Reseller Favorite, which will allow end customers to add configuration products to My Favorites/Company Favorites on Store.
  • When users reach the configuration details page via BO--->Home--->Product Search, they will see checkboxes on the 'Configuration Product' Listing page.
  • Upon clicking any checkbox, a dropdown with options like "Add to My Favorite" and "Add to Reseller Favorite" will appear next to "Pick" button.
  • Upon selecting these options from the dropdown, the user will be able to add configuration products to My Favorite / Reseller Favorite in BO.
  • Once it is done, the system will show the 'My Favorite' & 'Company Favorite' icons on the Storefront, on the configuration details page. On clicking these icons, the customers will see the desired results.
  • Users reaching the configuration details page (BO) via Contact Favorites / Company Favorites (at Customer level), will also be able to see these checkboxes and the dropdown.

Bug Fixes

Guest User Captcha was not visible on the Product Details Page after hard-refreshing the page

Before Release

  • Previously, when a guest user was logging on to the Store, the user would see Captcha on the 'product listing' and 'product details' page. However, after hard-refresh, captcha would disappear from these pages.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now even after hard-refresh, the guest user captcha will not disappear from the 'product listing' and 'product details' pages.

Opportunity Records not appearing on the Opportunity Listing Page

Before Release

  • Previously, when the user was viewing the Opportunity listing page, the opportunity records did not appear on the page.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now whenever the user views the Opportunity listing page, all the opportunity records will be loaded onto the page.

Global Level Pricing under 'Special Price Profiles' not getting applied to Products

Before Release

  • Previously, global-level pricing under 'Special Price Profiles' was not getting applied to products. This was happening because one customer was added in multiple special price rules.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now global level pricing will get applied to products, even if any customer is added in multiple special price rules.
