Enhancements

Introduced the Ability to Activate/Deactivate the Local Distributors

  • Now the user can activate/deactivate any local distributor from the ‘Distributors’ module in the back-office.
  • Upon selecting any distributor in the ‘Local Distributors’ list, the ‘Select an Action’ dropdown will appear on the screen. The dropdown will have two options, viz., Deactivate and Activate.
  • To access this dropdown go to BO>>Admin>>Account Profile>>Distributors>>Local Distributors>>Choose any Distributor>>Select an Action>>Active/Inactive
  • The option to deactivate and activate local distributors is also available on the ‘Distributors Details’ page.
  • To access this dropdown go to BO>>Admin>>Account Profile>>Distributors>>Local Distributors>>Distributor Name>>Edit>>Status>>Active/Inactive
  • Upon clicking the ‘Edit’ button on the ‘Distributor Details’ page, the ‘Status’ dropdown will show two options, viz., Active and Inactive.
  • All the deactivated distributors will not be visible in other modules of the application, e.g. Transactions, Freight Rules, Handling Rules, Price Rules, etc.

Introduced the Ability to Add Page Titles to New and Existing Custom Pages on the Store

  • Now users can explicitly add page titles to custom pages on the Store. A new field called ‘Page Title’ has been introduced in the ‘Page Settings’ screen under store customization.
  • To access this field go to BO>>eCommerce>>Store>>Customization>>Customize>>Edit page info>>Page Settings>>Page Title
  • ‘Page Title’ is a mandatory field and will accept up to 50 alphanumeric characters.
  • While the users are adding the page name, by default, the system will add the page name in the ‘Page Title’ field as well. However, the users have the option to add their own page titles.
  • Page Title will be displayed in the browser tab. If the ‘Page Title’ is not defined, then the page name will be displayed in the browser tab.

Modifications to Existing Features

Introduced the Ability to Add Alphanumeric Characters to the Permalink field for the New and Existing Custom Pages

Before Release

  • While creating/editing a permalink for new and existing custom pages, the user could not add alphanumeric characters.

After Release

  • Now, while creating/editing a permalink for new and existing custom pages, the user can also add alphanumeric characters.

Now System will show the reason for any failed Credit Card Transactions in the Back-office (Applicable only for Intuit Payment Gateway users)

Before Release

  • On clicking the ‘Charge by Credit Card’ option for a cart, the transaction was declined. However, the ‘transaction error’ section did not show the reason for the failed credit card transaction.

After Release

  • Now whenever the user clicks ‘Charge by Credit’ option for a cart and the transaction gets declined, then the ‘transaction error’ section will show the reason for the failed credit card transaction. So the user will know whether it’s a credit card issue or there is any other reason such as the amount being invalid.

Now System will show the reason for any failed Credit Card Transactions in the Back-office (Applicable only for PayPal Payment Gateway users)

Before Release

  • On clicking the ‘Charge by Credit Card’ option for a quote, the transaction was declined. However, the ‘Previous Transaction Details’ section did not show the reason for the failed credit card transaction.

After Release

  • Now whenever the user is clicking the ‘Charge by Credit’ option for a quote and if the transaction gets declined, then the ‘Previous Transaction Details’ section will show the reason for the failed credit card transaction. There will be an ‘i’ icon beside the ‘Response: Declined’ message. Hovering the cursor over the ‘i’ icon will reveal the reason for the failed credit card transaction.
