Enhancements

Ability to Rearrange Technical Specification Sequence for Custom Catalog Products

Before Release

Previously, users could not change the sequence of the Technical Specifications listed under the technical specification tab for any custom catalog product.

After Release

Using the dropdown, the user can change the order of the item as per their choice. Any changes in order will be visible on the Store as well as in Back Office.

Introduced Functionality to Set Credit Limit Amount for Customer

Now user has the ability to set Credit limit amount for customers in VARStreet. When Credit Limit exceeds the allowed limit, SO will not be converted to PO.

  • An additional field called ‘Outstanding Order Amount’ has been introduced at Customer Level in Customer Profile Section to adjust Credit Limit
    amount.
  • When PO is created from SO the ‘Outstanding Order Amount’ will be incremented by SO Amount.
  • Also, when the payment is received from that customer, the user will have to adjust the ‘Credit limit’ field or the ‘Outstanding Order Amount’ field
    manually.
  • When Credit limit exceeds ‘Outstanding Order Amount’ and if ‘Credit Limit’ rule is defined in Approval workflow then the SO created for that customer
will have to be sent for approval. However, if the ‘Credit Limit’ rule is not defined, the user will not be able to convert SO to PO.

Introduced ‘Credit limit’ Rule under Approval Workflows

A new approval rule called ‘Credit limit’ has been introduced in Workflows. This helps in sending the sales orders for approval if the ‘Sales Order amount’ + ‘Outstanding Order Amount’ is greater than the Credit limit set for the customer.

Introduced Ability to Convert Opportunity to Sales Order in VS-CW Integration

When a user converts Quote to Order in VARStreet (VS), its corresponding opportunity in ConnectWise (CW) gets converted to Sales Order. Also the status of the opportunity will be updated to WON in CW. This will link all Products from the ConnectWise Opportunity to the New Sales Order created in ConnectWise.

Note - Opportunity will be converted to Sales Order in CW provided the opportunity in CW was created through the Quote in VS.

Appending ‘-c’ for Dell Bundles in SEWP Contract.

Before Release

Previously when a user was exporting TR file for Dell bundles, the system would suffix Mfr. part number with ‘-c’, irrespective of whether the Mfr. part number has been already suffixed with ‘-c’ or not.

After Release

Now the system will check whether Mfr. Part number of Dell bundles has already been appended with ‘–c’. If not it will be appended and visible in export file. ‘-c’ will also be visible in SEWP quote.

Use Case - The user was appending Mfr. Part number of Dell bundles with ‘–c’ before exporting its TR file. So after TR Export the Mfr. Part number of Dell bundles would be appended twice with ‘-c’. Hence to resolve this issue, additional validation has been introduced.
