Enhancements

Introduced Ability to Set Bundle Price as Zero when any of the Bundle Component is discontinued

Before Release

Previously when a bundle component was discontinued, the price of the discontinued component was excluded while calculating the total bundle price.

After Release

A new flag called ‘Bundle Price to Zero’ has been introduced in bundle product details page. If this flag is checked and if any of bundle component are discontinued, then the bundle prices will be set to zero.

Introduced Ability to Edit Description and Unit Price of Bundle Components

Before Release

Previously the description and unit price of bundle components were non-editable.

After Release

Now user can manually edit the description and price of bundle components. The unit price that is entered for component will be used to calculate bundle price. Moreover, the entered component description will get displayed for that bundle in all transactions (Quote, SO, PO).

Introduced Ability to Validate Product Availability when Cart is loaded on Store

Before Release

Previously, the end-customer was able to order products that were discontinued or excluded from store catalog.

After Release

Now when the Cart is loaded, system will check whether products added in Cart are available or not. In case, they are not available, the user will be prompted that ‘Products will be deleted’ from the cart because they are no longer available. On click of OK button, system will delete discontinued products from shopping cart.

Introduced Ability to Get a Quote for Individual Zero priced products in Responsive Store

After Release

  • Now, a new flag called ‘Get a Quote per Product’ has been introduced in Store Setup for Responsive Store. If this flag is checked and product price is zero then ‘Get a Quote’ button will be displayed in Product Matrix, Product details, Product List, Product comparison and Shopping cart page.
  • On Click of ‘Get a Quote’ button, system will open a pop-up containing product. It will ask user to fill up basic information. On submitting the form, system will create quote for that user.

Modifications to Existing Features

Now System will Provide Export File of Duplicate Products in Special Pricing Upload

Added an additional column "Manufacturer name" in Special Pricing upload which will be an optional column.

  • After uploading Special Pricing products if system finds multiple products with same Manufacturer part, system will not load those records and will provide an export of duplicate products along with others errors.
  • These Duplicate Export File will have records with VS Manufacturer name and Catalog (VS / Custom).
  • User can review the duplicate export file, clean it up and upload again.

Added an additional column "Catalog" (VS/Custom) in Special Pricing which will be an optional column.

Introduced Ability to View Different Codes of AVS and CVV Response during Credit Card Transactions

Before Release

Users were finding it difficult to interpret the AVS and CVV response codes sent by the payment service provider when processing credit card transactions.

After Release

A new link called ‘Click here to view the definition of Address Verification Service/Card Verification Value response codes’ has been introduced in ‘Charge by Credit Card’ page. Clicking on this link will allow you to view different codes of AVS and CVV response for that particular payment gateway. This will make it easier for users to interpret the AVS and CVV response codes sent by the payment service provider.

General Bug Fixes

Social Media Sharing Feature was not working as expected

Before Release

When sharing a product to social media sites (Facebook or Twitter), the image and description of the product was not being populated correctly.

After Release

The issue has been fixed. Now when end-customer is sharing a product to social media sites (Facebook or Twitter), the image and description of the product will be populated properly.

Conversion Tracking Code was not Working Properly for Responsive Store

Before Release

Previously, conversion tracking code was not working properly for Responsive store.

After Release

The issue has now been fixed with the conversion tracking code is now working as expected for Responsive store. It will allow user to track different kinds of conversion actions including purchases, sign-up and other actions that customer complete on the website.

Products with larger Titles and Descriptions were Appearing Distorted in Search Results Page

Before Release

Previously, products with larger titles and descriptions were appearing distorted in search results page.

After Release

The issue has been fixed. Now products with larger titles and descriptions will be displayed in the assigned area in search results page.

Issue with changing the Sort order of the components in Product Configuration

Before Release

Previously, when changing sort order of any component in configuration, the ‘Included in Price’ flag was not getting updated.

After Release

The issue has now been fixed. Now changing sort order of any component in configuration, the ‘Included in Price’ flag will also get updated.
