Enhancements

Introduced Ability to Hide Administration and My Account Menu Section on Store

  • Now user can hide administration and My Account section from Storefront.
  • A new flag called “Hide Administration Section on Store” has been introduced in BackOffice at Customer Level.
  • If this flag is checked, Contacts won’t be able to see administration section on store. Only admin user will be able to access it.
  • Similarly, a new flag called “Hide ‘My Account’ menu from Store” has also been introduced at Customer level.
  • When this flag is checked, Contacts won’t be able to see “My Account” Menu on store. Only admin users will be able to access it.

Introduced “Note” Field on Purchase Order Print Preview and PDF

Before Release

  • Previously any email sent to the distributor did not include the message entered in “Remarks” field in General Tab of a Purchase Order.

After Release

  • Now any message entered on “Remarks” text field on Purchase Order under General Tab will be displayed as “Note” on Purchase Order print preview and PDF. The same message will be displayed on purchase order email attachments (HTML/PDF).

Modifications to Existing Features

Changes in Dashboard Widgets

  • Changes in Dashboard Widgets
  • This checkbox will appear only for Chart type and Table type widgets. If this checkbox is checked, information related to ‘Total’ will be displayed on widgets.
  • Note--> This feature is available only for users of new version of VARStreet dashboard.

Introduced Permissions/Privileges to Create, Share and Customize Dashboards

  • Now VS BackOffice admin user can decide which user can create, share and customize dashboards.
  • Two new checkboxes “Can user create and customize Dashboards?” and “Can user share the dashboards with other users?” have been introduced under Privilege section for every user.
  • To access these privileges, go to BO>>Admin>>Account Profile>>>Users>>User Name>>Privileges>>Checkboxes
  • If “Can user create and customize Dashboards” checkbox is checked for a user then that user can add/edit/delete widgets and dashboards.
  • If “Can user share the dashboards with other users?” checkbox is checked for an user then only that user can share dashboards and system will display Privacy option to that user on dashboard add/edit page.
  • Note--> This feature is available only for users of new version of VARStreet dashboard.

Introduced Functionality to Mark Newly added Shipping Addresses as Dropship on Store and BackOffice

Before Release

  • Previously by default, the dropship flag in Business Rules only marked the newly added contacts as dropship. User had to manually mark newly added shipping addresses as dropship.

After Release

  • Now by default, the dropship flag in Business Rules will mark newly added contacts as well as newly added shipping addresses as dropship.

Changes in Message on BackOffice and Store when Users Request Reset link with Wrong Email id / Username

Before Release

  • When the user was trying to request a reset link with a wrong email / username on BackOffice & Username, the “User name does not exist.”, message was being displayed

After Release

  • Now when the user tries to request a reset link with a wrong email/username on BackOffice & Username, the “You will receive a reset password link in your registered email id” message will be displayed.

Bug Fixes

List of All Tax Codes Not Available in Tax-based Approval Rule

Before Release

  • Previously while defining tax-based approval rule, the tax code that the user wanted to select was not available in the “List of Tax Codes” dropdown. In other words, the “List of Tax Codes” dropdown was not showing all the defined tax codes for products.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now while defining tax-based approval rule, user will be able to see all their tax codes in the “List of Tax Codes” dropdown.

Sequence of Line Items in SO not Matching in PO

Before Release

  • Previously when user was converting a SO (having more than 200 line items) into PO, the sequence of line items in SO did not match to that of PO.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now when user converts a SO (having more than 200 line items) into PO, the sequence of line items in SO will match to that of PO.

System sending reset password link when user hits the ‘Enter Key’ while updating Customer-Contact details in Customer Master Page

Before Release

  • Previously while updating Customer-Contact details in Customer Master, the user was hitting the ‘Enter Key’. The system was misinterpreting it as clicking the “Send Reset Password Link” button. As a result the popup with message “Reset password link sent successfully” was being displayed.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now while adding/updating Customer-Contact details in Customer Master, if the user hits the ‘Enter Key’, system by default will save all the newly added information.
  • For all other actions, user will have to explicitly click the respective button, e.g. “Send Reset Password Link”, “Save and Add Note”, etc.

Opportunity Status was not Updating to ‘Won’ Status

Before Release

  • Previously when a SO is confirmed against any opportunity, it’s status did not auto-update to Won in CRM module.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now whenever SO is confirmed against any opportunity, it’s status will be auto-updated to Won in CRM module

Duplicate line items (rows/records) are created in tracking details page when ‘Save’ button is Clicked Twice

Before Release

  • Previously when a SO is confirmed against any opportunity, it’s status did not auto-update to Won in CRM module. Previously when user was clicking the ‘Save’ button twice in tracking details page, duplicate line items (rows/records) were being created.

After Release

  • To resolve this issue, the system is restricting user from clicking on save button twice. This will avoid duplicate line items from being created. The ‘Save’ button on Tracking details page will be disabled after the first click.
