Introduced ‘User Group’ Feature on the Latest Version of Store
Now admin user can create user groups on the latest version of store.
This feature is available only for admin users. Non-admin users won’t be able to use this feature.
The admin user can create a user group consisting of buyers, requesters and admin users.
Ony admin users can see the ‘User Groups’ tab in ‘My Accounts’
With this feature, admin user can approve pending transactions of other admin users in the same group.
To create a User Group, the admin user will have to enter ‘Group Name’ and ‘Description
By clicking the ‘Add Contact’ button and selecting the name in the dropdown, new members in the user group can be easily added.
The admin user has the flexibility to assign /unassign permission to other users. The admin user can even delete members in the same user group.
If a non-admin user has been assigned permission, the user can view transactions of other members in the User Group. The user can also view spend reports which will include transactions of other users from the same group.
Only admin users in the group can approve transactions (that are awaiting approval) of other users in the same group.
Modifications to Existing Features
Cart No. and Cart Date will be Displayed in Shopping Cart above Order Summary on the Latest version of Store
Before Release
Previously, user had to download the cart PDF to view cart No. and Cart date on Store.
After Release
Now user can directly view Cart no. and Cart Date above order summary on Products Tab, Delivery Tab and Payment Tab on Store.
Introduced Ability to Show ‘Request for Quote’ (RFQ) Option for Specific Customer on the Latest Version of Store
Before Release
Previously, ‘Show RFQ link in my store’ flag was available only at Store level.
After Release
Now a similar flag called “Show RFQ on Store” has been introduced at Customer level.
This flag has 3 options; 1) As per Store Settings 2) Yes 3) No
If the second option (Yes) is selected, RFQ button will be visible for that customer even if the store level flag is deactivated.
If the third option (No) is selected, RFQ button will not be visible for that customer even if the store level flag is activated.
Bug Fixes
Non-existing Tax Codes getting uploaded via ‘Quote Import’ in the System
Before Release
Previously, when user was uploading a non-existing tax code via ‘Quote Import’, it was getting uploaded in the system.
After Release
The issue has been fixed. Now whenever a user is uploading a non-existing tax code via ‘Quote Import’, the user will be prompted with a validation message suggesting that the tax code entered in the “Upload Wizard - Import Quote Items” file is invalid.
