Introduced the Ability to Define Credit Card Processing Fees on Transaction (Cart and Quote) on Store and Back Office
Now the user can define credit card processing fees on transactions (Cart and Quote) on the store and back office.
A new flag called “Charge Credit Card Processing Fee on Transaction” has been introduced on the CC Authorizer setup page.
To access this flag go to BO>>Admin>>Account Profile>>CC Authorizer>>Flag
Once this flag is checked, the “Credit Card Processing Fee” section will be visible to the user.
In this section, the user can define the credit card (CC) processing fee in percentage (%) or amount ($)
The user also has the flexibility to name the “Label for CC Fees”
In case the user wants to include the CC fees in the Transaction amount, just check the “Include the CC fees in Transaction” flag. When this flag is checked, CC fees will not be displayed separately on Cart and Quote.
When the CC fees are included in the transaction amount, the user can decide what message should be displayed if CC charges are included in the transaction total.
For instance, if the CC processing fee is 2%, the message can be “Cart Total includes 2% CC processing fees”
Introduced the Ability to Create a Header/Footer Menu without the hyperlink on the Latest Version of the Store (Classic Theme only)
Before Release
Previously, the user could not create header and footer menus without defining a hyperlink to it.
After Release
Now the user can create header and footer menus without any hyperlinks on the Store.

A new option called “No Link” has been introduced in the Link dropdown under the Menu settings of Header / Footer
When this option is chosen, the user will be able to create menus and sub-menus without adding any links. In other words, the user won’t be able to set any redirection link for the Menu.
With this feature, the user will be able to create a level 1 to level 4 Menu for the header and a level 1 to level 2 Menu for the footer with the ‘NO LINK’ option.
Introduced the Ability to mark New Custom Catalog Products as Taxable by Default.
Now whenever a user creates a new custom catalog product, it will be set as taxable by default.
A new flag called “New Custom catalog products to be created as taxable” has been introduced in Business Rules under the ‘General Defaults’ tab
To access this flag go to--> BO>>Admin>>Account Settings>>Business Rules>>General Defaults>>Flag
If this flag is activated, then the taxable flag in the Custom catalog product details page, configuration product details page, and bundle details page will be automatically checked by default.
Introduced a new privilege in the User Profile to mark Custom Catalog Products as Taxable
Now “user admin” can decide which sales rep can mark custom catalog products as taxable.
A new privilege called “Allow (sales rep name) to mark custom catalog products as taxable/non-taxable” has been introduced on the ‘Users profile’ page.
To access this flag go to--->BO>>Admin>>Account Profile>>User>>Privileges
If the sales rep has the above privilege, the system will allow the sales rep to check/uncheck the taxable flag under the Business Rules.
Modifications to Existing Features
Changes in Single Page Checkout on the Latest Version of the Store
After adding products to the cart, the user (both guest and registered user) will see the “Continue to Address” button instead of the “Continue Checkout” button
After filling in the address details, the user (both guest and registered user) will see “Continue to Payment” button instead of “Continue Checkout” button.
The “Change” button has been introduced in the ‘shopping cart’ accordion which will allow the user to edit existing products as well as add new products to the cart.
Bug Fixes
Credit Card Fee not visible on Quote payment link
Before Release
Previously, the user was sending the quote with the “Pay and Confirm” link . However, the end customer was not able to see the credit card fees upon clicking the “Click here to View your QUOTE & pay online” link
Note---> The flag "Charge Credit Card Processing Fee on Transaction" should be enabled in the CC Authorizer setup
After Release
The issue has been fixed. Now when the user sends the quote with the "Pay and Confirm" link, the end customer will be able to see the credit card fees upon clicking the “Click here to View your QUOTE & pay online” link.
