Enhancements

All Fields of Advanced Search Page in Transactions will now remain Sticky

  • Now the system will keep all the advanced search filters on the "View All" Transaction Page (Quotes, Sales Order, and Purchase Order) sticky.
  • This means whenever the user opens the Advanced search page, the last 'search criteria' selected will be visible to the user. This will help to make the search process more efficient.

Introduced the Ability to Change the Distributor source at Line Item Level at Once on Quotes and Sales Orders using a Pricing Worksheet

  • Now users can easily change the distributor source at the line item level at one time on quotes and sales orders.
  • A new source dropdown where the user can select a distributor has been introduced in the Pricing Worksheet on Quotes and Sales Orders.
  • Along with the dropdown, the "All Products" checkbox as well as the "Apply" hyperlink have been introduced in the Pricing worksheet.
  • Once the distributor is selected from the dropdown and the 'All Products' checkbox is checked, the user has to just click on the 'Apply" link to change the distributor at the line item level.

Note------> Source dropdown will be visible only for those resellers whose “Sourcing” feature has been enabled in provisioning.

Use Case ------>Previously, the user was setting the distributor source manually for every product in Quote and Sales Order. With this new feature, any distributor selected in the 'source' dropdown, will be automatically applied for all the products in quote at one time.

Introduced a New Configuration Layout on the Latest Version of the Store (Classic Theme only)

  • A new configuration layout has been introduced under "Store Customization" on the latest version of the store.
  • To access this new layout go to---> BO>>eCommerce>>Store>>Customization>>Customize>>Global>>Custom Layouts>>Configuration Layout
  • The new configuration layout follows the accordion structure in which the group, sub-group, and mandatory group will be visible as accordions.
  • Once any accordion is selected, its page content will be pushed down. The user can then select options to create a product configuration on the store.

Introduced "Resend" Button in the Lambda Error Log for Transactions (Quote/SO) that fail to Sync to NetSuite ERP

Before Release

  • Previously, when the "Post on Demand" flag was off ("Send to NetSuite" button NOT visible under Send tab of Quote/SO), there was no provision to resend failed transactions to NetSuite ERP

After Release

  • Now even if the "Post on Demand" flag is off, the user can still resend failed transactions (Quote/SO) to NetSuite ERP directly through the Lambda error log page.
  • The "Resend'' button has been introduced on the 'Lambda error log' page. The button will be visible only for those transactions that have failed to sync to NetSuite ERP. It will be visible against the last error message for that transaction.
  • By clicking on this button, the user will be able to resend failed transactions to NetSuite ERP.

P.S.--------> This enhancement is applicable only for resellers that have implemented NetSuite ERP integration. This enhancement will work only when the "Post on Demand" flag is off.

Modifications to Existing Features

Now user cannot add the Permalink URL of System-generated Pages while creating /editing Pages in Backoffice for the Latest Version of the Store

Before Release

  • Previously, while creating/editing pages in backoffice, the user could add permalink URL of system-generated pages

After Release

  • Now while creating/editing pages in the backoffice, the user cannot add the permalink URL of system-generated pages.
  • In case the user tries to edit the permalink URL, a popup window with the message "Permalink already exists. Please enter a unique permalink ".
  • Following are the system-generated pages whose permalink URLs cannot be added while creating / editing pages:
  • "all categories", "all brands", "login", "registration", "home", "dashboard", "my favorites", "company favorites", "blog", "cart", "cart preview", "change password", "configurator", "forget password", "loginbyemail", "my account", "product comparison", "product detail", "product list", "punchout", "return request", "seo product detail", "track order", "vscaptcha"

System to show distinct Manufacturers and Distributors in Advanced Search Page of Transactions (PO, SO, and Quote)

Before Release

  • Previously, in the 'Advanced search page' of transactions under the 'Line Items' section, the dropdown list did not show distinct manufacturer and distributor names.
  • For instance, in the case of "Apple" and "Apple, Inc.," the system was not considering them as two different manufacturer names. As a result, the user was not able to search purchase orders (POs) with the manufacturer name as "Apple Inc.". This is because the manufacturer dropdown list was NOT showing "Apple Inc." as the option.

After Release

  • Now, in the 'Advanced search page' of transactions under the 'Line Items' section, the dropdown list will show distinct manufacturer and distributor names.

Bug Fixes

Any new contact created using the “Click here to add new contact“ hyperlink in Quote "General Tab" was not getting marked as 'Dropship'

Before Release

The flag "New Contacts and Shipping Addresses being created will be marked as Drop Ship" was checked in Business Rules. Yet any new contact created using the "Click here to add new contact“ hyperlink in Quote "General Tab" was not getting marked as 'Dropship'.

This was happening under the following scenario:

  • The user was uploading leads through the 'Upload Lead' Wizard file. This was followed by editing any lead on the 'lead edit' page. On clicking the 'Save' and 'Create Opportunity' page, the user entered the mandatory details and then clicked on the 'Save' and 'Create Quote' buttons.
  • On the Quote 'General' tab, the user was converting the lead to customer. The user was then creating a new contact using the “Click here to add new contact“ hyperlink. However, the new contact was not marked as "Dropship" in the Quote Terms Tab.

After Release

  • The issue has now been fixed. Whenever the user follows the above steps and creates a new contact using the “Click here to add new contact“ hyperlink, it will be marked as 'dropship' in the Quote Terms tab.

Issues while Adding Tracking Details to SO

Before Release

  • Previously, the user was adding tracking details through a packing slip to a single product of SO. However, since the same product was also added to a bundle, the tracking details of the bundle component were also modified.
  • In other words, when the SKU of a single individual product as well as another product (added to the bundle) are the same, it can modify the tracking details of the bundle component.

After Release

  • The issue has now been fixed. Now even if the SKU of the individual product as well as the product added to the bundle are the same, the tracking details of that bundle component won't get modified.

The "Do not show this message again" Flag on the Dashboard Popup Window in BackOffice not Working Properly

Before Release

  • Even after checking the "Do not show this message again" flag, the dashboard popup window still appears whenever the user logs into VARStreet BackOffice.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now after checking the "Do not show this message again" flag, the dashboard window will no longer appear whenever the user logs into the VARStreet Backoffice.

Cost of Line Items with $0.00 in Quote changes to $0.01 in Sales Order

Before Release

  • Previously, when the quote was converted to a sales order, the cost of line items with $0.00 changed to $0.01 in a sales order.

After Release

  • The issue has been fixed. Now when the quote is converted to a sales order, the cost of line items with $0.00 will remain the same in the sales order.
